Diane Brooks


Diane Brooks is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Diane has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Mrs. Brooks started her career in Maryland working with teenagers in detention and residential centers. Most recently, for the past few years after moving to Colorado, Mrs. Brooks has been working with children, teenagers, and adults in a private practice model and as part of an Integrated Behavioral Health Team at Arapahoe Park Pediatrics. Mrs. Brooks has significant experience in working with children, teenagers and adults who are struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, mood issues, grief and loss, and adjustment issues. Her compassion and meeting individuals and families where they are promote a welcoming environment to work on some of the more challenging times of our lives.

Mrs. Brooks is known for her strengths-based approach and supporting people with learning coping strategies to manage the challenges that occur throughout one’s life. She thoroughly enjoys working with people and what she does. She has been additionally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma (Level 1 Certificate from the Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy Training and Education and Trauma Focused-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills training and completed EMDR Level I and Level II training.
