Diane Strouse is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. Mrs. Strouse has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education. In addition, she is a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. Prior to private practice, Mrs. Strouse worked for Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health as a part of their Integrated Behavioral Health Team at Arapahoe Park Pediatrics taking a holistic approach to health care. Mrs. Strouse has significant experience working with adolescents, adults, and families, as well as extensive background working with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustment issues, mood problems, grief and loss, and life coaching. Prior to joining Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health Network, Mrs. Strouse had ten years of experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues helping them discover coping skills and solutions to better their lives.

Mrs. Strouse provides a respectful and empathetic environment for patients to explore their issues and develop coping skills. She challenges everyone to think about how they want their life to be and assists them with taking steps to achieve this vision. Her use of humor, gentleness, and keen insight promote a distinctive style that resonates with clients from varying backgrounds. Mrs. Strouse believes that clients ultimately hold the solutions to the issues that brought them to counseling and that her role is as a facilitator toward those solutions.
